Hydrated skin is your friend.
These days, keeping your hands hydrated between multiple washings and hand sanitizer can be so difficult.
We're here to help. Here is a step by step for keeping your hands baby soft through a global pandemic.
The secret: oil and water.
Oil and water, when used in tandem, mimic the skin's protective hydrolipid barrier. Oil holds the water to the skin and water pulls the oils more deeply to deliver nutrients to the deepest layers of skin.
Step 1: Use a clean, dry finger to acquire a dime size of body butter
Step 2: Wet hands
(It's very important not to do this step first as putting a wet finger into body butter will invite bacteria to the party)
Step 3: Rub butter gently between wet hands until it starts to feel like more of a lotion.
Step 4: Massage thinned butter into the backs of hands until the water evaporates.
Step 5: Repeat as many times as necessary until your hands are baby soft.
